Hi, I'm Melissa Snow, a coach and consultant specializing in ADHD,‍ ‍Anxiety,Perimenopause/Menopause and Life’s Transitions. I help women shift the focus back to themselves so they can create lives that are aligned with their true self.

Maybe you know you are capable, but you struggle to show it consistently. You may feel overwhelmed by responsibilities that seem easier for everyone else, or you may be entering a new stage of life and discovering that the strategies you once relied on are no longer working.

Maybe you are starting college, building a career, becoming a mother, navigating a relationship change, managing a health condition, or experiencing perimenopause. Life has changed, but your systems have not changed with it.

You do not need to become an entirely different person. You need support that reflects who you are, what you are navigating, and what you actually have the capacity to do.

Together, we identify what is getting in the way and create practical, personalized strategies for moving forward. You do not have to figure it all out alone. I see you.

I chose the words "despite it all" intentionally. Because that is exactly what showing up for yourself looks like. Despite the exhaustion. Despite the self doubt. Despite everything life has thrown at you. It is the belief that you can still build something beautiful even in the middle of the mess. And you already took the first step just by finding your way here.

Your aligned reflection awaits. ...despite it all...

about me

I have spent most of my life being the person who held space for everyone else. I was the one who listened, noticed what others missed, helped people untangle overwhelming thoughts, and found a way forward when everything felt impossible.

That work has always felt natural to me. What did not come naturally was offering myself the same patience and understanding I so freely gave to everyone else.

For years, I believed that being capable meant finding a way to handle everything, even when doing so was costing me more than anyone could see.‍ ‍Like so many women, I became so focused on everyone else that I slowly stopped taking care of me. Somewhere along the way, I lost sight of myself and didn’t recognize my reflection.

I was in gifted and AP classes as a kid. School came easy to me…until it didn't.

Once high school arrived and the executive function demands increased, my grades began to slip. I still graduated high school with a 3.4 (weighted) GPA, but I knew I was capable of more.

College was a nightmare. I would sit down to study and my brain would go somewhere else. I told myself I would try harder next semester, and next semester, and next semester. Once I started taking classes in my major, I was suddenly able to focus.

It wasn’t until graduate school that my potential really shined. Even with undiagnosed ADHD, I earned two master’s degrees and had a 3.94 GPA in both programs. I was selected to become the first student to sit on the board of the Ohio School Counselor Association and the Ohio Counseling Association.

For the first time, what I was accomplishing matched what I had always known I was capable of. And it felt really good.

Maybe a little too good, because that became my new benchmark. Doing something well no longer felt like enough. I started expecting myself to go above and beyond in everything I did.

I kept pushing through exhaustion and sickness, ignoring the signals my body was sending me. I masked and pretended that everything was okay, working hard to present the “Pinterest perfect” family while quietly falling apart on the inside. I will forever defend being extra at Disney!

I was convinced I needed to be extra in order to make up for the girl who skipped class, pulled all nighters, partied a little too hard and was at times a hot mess. Instead, I became overwhelmed, constantly sick, depleted, and disconnected from myself.

At bedtime every night, my son tells me that I am the best mommy ever. One night while I was sick, he told me I was still the best mommy ever, but it was hard when I missed so much. If I wasn’t sick, I was working, and I had missed every major (I was sick and masked for Christmas) and minor holiday that year, including his birthday. Hearing him say that was what finally got through to me.

I stepped away from my career and focused on getting better. For the first time, I stopped trying to fix everything for everyone else and turned that same compassion inward. I began applying the strategies I had spent more than fifteen years studying to myself.

Creating new habits is hard. Unlearning lifelong patterns is hard. Choosing yourself after years of choosing everyone else is hard.

So I stopped chasing perfection and started building a life that actually worked for my brain, my body, and the person I was now. I refined and created new systems that supported my brain, body, and energy levels. I started giving myself the same grace I had spent years giving everyone else, and I stopped feeling guilty for making myself a priority.

And I finally learned that I didn’t have to keep setting myself on fire to keep everyone else warm.

Sometimes what we need most is not another piece of advice or another generic strategy to add to an already overwhelming list. It is having someone in your corner who understands what it feels like when your brain, your body, or your life stops cooperating the way it used to. Someone who will walk the path with you and help you create strategies that work for the life you are actually living.

Not just from a textbook or observation. From the inside out (one of my favorite movies btw).

“Melissa just gets it. I’ll go to Melissa feeling like I’m the only person who has ever felt like this, and she is unafraid to be vulnerable and share her own similar experiences to show me that I’m not alone.”

Our relationship is a big part of your success. You need to feel understood, supported, and comfortable enough to show up exactly as you are. We will laugh, joke around, and have fun, but we will also be honest, do the work, and make meaningful progress together.

I believe every woman deserves someone who will hold up a mirror and help her see her truth without the anxiety, the self doubt, or the impossible expectations she has carried for years. I help you see that you are enough. That you are transforming. That you are worthy of an aligned reflection.

As your coach, my job is not to tell you who to become. It is to help you find your way back to yourself…the person who has always been there beneath the noise, the expectations, and the self-doubt.

Together, we will identify where you are, where you want to be, and build practical, personalized strategies that fit your life, your brain, and your goals. You deserve someone who reminds you of your strengths on the days you have forgotten them. You deserve to see yourself the way I see you. Worthy, capable, and strong.

You deserve an aligned reflection… despite it all.
